PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless LAN access point device which can certainly avoid duplicated setting when using Auto-IP even in an unstable wireless environment.;SOLUTION: The wireless LAN access point device includes: an ARP (Address Resolution Protocol) request discrimination means (11) for Auto-IP duplication checking which extracts an ARP request packet for duplication checking in order to check duplication when a random IP address is selected by Auto-IP out of received packets; an address memory means (15) which memorizes correspondence between a managing MAC address and an IP address when issuing a proxy response for the ARP request packet; a proxy ARP response creation means (19) which creates a proxy ARP response; a bridge means (17) which performs bridging for the received data; and a proxy response control means (16) which, when an address exists in the address memory means (15), stops operation of the bridge means (17) and transmits the proxy ARP response created by the proxy ARP creation means (19).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
