PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a code converting device which converts an inputted word to a prescribed code corresponding to a word with a higher probability than before; and to provide a code converting method, a code converting program, a code conversion supporting device, a code conversion supporting method, and a code conversion supporting program. PSOLUTION: In the code converting device 3, even if there is described only a "fracture" as an input disease/injury name in a concerned item in diagnosis data inputted from an input device 2, the code converting device estimates that the "fracture" as the input disease/injury name means a "thighbone fracture" on the basis of a coded rule table 50 as far as there is a description of the "thighbone" in an auxiliary concerned item, can convert the input disease/injury name to an ICD-10 code 53 of a normal concerned disease/injury name of the "thighbone fracture", and thus can convert the input disease/injury name to a corresponding prescribed ICD-10 code 53 at a higher probability more than before.
