PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compound useful in organic layer formed by wet-film-forming process, of an organic electroluminescent element, high in solubility, and enabling such an organic electroluminescent element of high efficiency and long service life to be given even if its organic layer is formed by wet-film-forming process.;SOLUTION: The compound having an anthracene structure and represented by formula (I) [wherein, Ar¹ to Ar⁴ are each independently a (substituted) aromatic hydrocarbon group; G¹ denotes a direct bond or a linkage group; and the anthracene ring to which the Ar¹ group is bound may have substituent(s) further] is provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
