PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to find a set of proper attributes for classifying messages transmitted/received to/from a plurality of information processors of an IT system for each transaction.;SOLUTION: In an attribute selection device 10, a start message extraction part 12 extracts a message serving as a start message of a series of processes from a message set gathered in the past from the IT system. An attribute candidate extraction part 13 extracts candidates of attributes for classifying messages gathered from the IT system for each series of processes. An attribute set generation part 14 find such an attribute set as the number of groups, which can be determined as a wrong classification from the number and time sequence of included start messages, is reduced when message sets are temporarily classified to groups according to an attribute set wherein the attribute candidates are combined together.
