PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroconductive diamond electrode which is made by using a thin film of electroconductive diamond and a thick substrate, is more inexpensively made than an independence type electroconductive diamond electrode, besides, has a sufficient mechanical strength so as to be capable of being used in zero-gap type electrolysis, and can smoothly and stably supply water and exhaust a gas for a long period of time without delay.;SOLUTION: The electroconductive diamond electrode includes a substrate 11 which has many uneven parts 25 and 26 over the whole surface of the electroconductive diamond electrode, and a diamond film which covers the surface of the substrate 11, wherein each salient part 25 of the uneven parts has the width of 0.2-1 mm.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
