PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow maintenance of a cooling system without stopping an underground substation even if the underground substation has no auxiliary cooling system.;SOLUTION: The cooling system 10 for the transformation facility of the underground substation includes: bodies 11-13 to be cooled; the same number of cooling towers 21-23 as that of the bodies 11-13 to be cooled; pump devices 31-33; and a cooling system 25 that connects first common header piping 35, second common header piping 36, piping 51-53 on the outflow side of the bodies to be cooled, piping 71-73 on the inflow side of the cooling devices, piping 81-83 on the outflow side of the cooling devices, piping 41-43 on the inflow side of the bodies to be cooled, and the pump devices 31-33 so as to constitute a water circulation path between the bodies 11-13 to be cooled and the cooling devices 21-23. The cooling system 25 includes two independent flow paths that are simultaneously used during normal operation of an underground substation and configured to allow conduction of water of ≥50% and 100% of the water amount required for cooling of the bodies 11-13 to be cooled.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
