PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric wheelchair allowing an occupant having a handicap in the body to easily connect the electric wheelchair to a seat moving device equipped in a vehicle.SOLUTION: This electric wheelchair 10 includes: area detection sensors 13 and a front detection sensor 14 detecting laser light irradiated from the seat moving device 20; a laser sensor 15 irradiating laser light rearward; a contact sensor 16 stopping the electric wheelchair 10 going in reverse along the laser light of the laser sensor 15; and an ECU 17 processing information detected by the area detection sensors 13, the front detection sensor 14, and the laser sensor 15. The seat moving device 20 has a seat base 21 supporting the electric wheelchair 10. The seat base 21 includes: photoelectric sensors 22 and a front designation sensor 23 detecting the area detection sensors 13 and the front detection sensor 14 equipped in the electric wheelchair 10; and a reflection plate 24 reflecting the laser light of the laser sensor 15.
