P To provide an insect proof device between the outer sash meeting stile and inner sash glass panel of a double sliding sash, which dispenses with fabrication ON a job site and which enables an insect proof effect to be expected by adaptation to a state after the adjustment of accuracy of fittings of the sash. PSOLUTION: Assembling portions 10a and 14of a upper and lower adjusting materials 8 and 9, which are composed of mounting portions 10b and 14b provided with the assembling portion pieces 10a and 14a and vertically-long adjusting holes 12 and 16, are assembled by being fitted and inserted into a mounting groove 7, which is vertically provided in the meeting stile 3b of the outer sash 3, from upper and lower opened ends. The mounting portions 10b and 14b are superposed ON the meeting stile 3b and fixed by means of fixing screws 13 and 17 passing through the adjusting holes 12 and 16. A closing material 6, the fitting portion of which is provided in the base of a main plate 6a for closing a gap (a) between the meeting stile 3b of the outer sash 3 and the glass panel 2d of the inner sash 2, is fixed to the meeting stile 3b by pressing the fitting portion 6b into the mounting groove 7 between the assembling portions 10b and 14b of the upper and lower adjusting materials 8 and 9.
