PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asset management device, a client terminal, an asset management system, an asset management method and an asset management program, with which the data size of inventory information can be reduced and the process to register the collected inventory information in a storage part can be reduced even when the inventory information is collected first time from a new terminal and the like in collecting the inventory information.;SOLUTION: The asset management device includes: the storage part; a definition file creation part which extracts item information with high degree of commonality and creates an inventory information definition file listing up the item information; a definition file transmission part; a selected file receiving part in which a client terminal selects only the selected item information matching the inventory information of the client terminal itself and which receives listed inventory information selected files and the inventory information intrinsic to the client terminal not contained in the list; and a registration part which registers the selected item information and the items in the storage part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
