SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MODELING CORROSION-BASED MULTIPHASE FLOW FRICTION IN PIPES

The system and method for modeling corrosion-based multiphase flow friction in pipes is computer-implemented modeling software used to calculate the total pressure drop of a multiphase fluid flowing from an un-corroded portion of a pipe to a corroded portion of the pipe. In order to calculate the total pressure drop, gravitational deceleration, fluid deceleration, fluid friction and corrosion-based friction are each taken into account and included in the model.
