A medical alarm system for processing medical time-series data of multiple physiologic signals in hospitals and other environments is disclosed. The alarm system generates physiologic animations in real-time. The physiologic animations are shaped as a schematic of the physiologic system being monitored. The physiologic system is comprised of multiple components corresponding to organs. The physiologic animation and organs move over time in response to the physiologic signals.
