A method for sorting the search results and an information search system are disclosed which relate to the computer technique field. The method for sorting the search results includes: searching the search information database according to the search condition to determine the records meeting the search condition; randomly determining the record which is in the first location of the displayed search results according to the corresponding priorities of the records meeting the search condition and determining the sort locations of other records meeting the search condition in the displayed search results. The present invention realizes determining the record which is in the first location in the displayed search results according to the registered priorities of the records and making the record which will be displayed in the first location of the search results unpredictable.
