The object of the invention is essential oil selected from among such products as eucalyptus oil, camphor oil, lavender oil, Italian copper oil, sage oil, mint oil, and alloys for the treatment and prevention of inflammatory conditions caused by hazelnuts, in particular for use, in which the inflammation of the eyelids caused by the nut is an inflammation of the eyelids. The result also includes the use of essential oils and aloe in the manufacture of a preparation for the treatment and prevention of inflammatory conditions caused by hazelnuts and pharmaceutical composition,containing as active substance at least one of the abovementioned essential oils and/or aloes.
