The invention relates to a device for functional exercise/assistance/recovery of the hand in a patient with sequelae from a cerebrovascular accident or other central effector lesions. According to the invention, the device comprises a rigid circular platband () of adjustable radius, two screws () fixed onto the platband (), at the exterior, in the vicinity of its two ends, five rings () of variable size and position for the five fingers of the patient's hand, located on the internal surface of the platband (), in the same plane therewith, and five resilient systems () for attaching the rings () onto the surface of the platband () with variable resistance, where the resistance may be increased depending on the intensity of the patient's hand spasticity.
