METHOD FOR TREATING BILATERAL PLEURAL EFFUSION OF UNKNOWN GENESIS

A method for treating bilateral pleural effusion of unknown genesis comprises the bilateral pleural biopsy with drainage of both pleural cavities , and superimposition of diagnostic pneumothorax videothoracoscopy . On the day of hospitalization the ultrasound access to both pleural cavities is carried out, diagnostic pneumothorax is imposed in volume not exceeding 500 cm3 on both sides gradually multiaxial fluoroscopy of pleural cavities is carried out with determination of the future locations of the first thoracoport . Then pneumothorax is loosen. The next day, videothorascopy is performed first on the side of larger danage, and then on the opposite side.
