METHOD FOR REPLACING DEFECTS OF SOFT TISSUES OF DISTAL PHALANGE OF THUMB

A method for replacing the defects of the soft tissues of the distal phalange of the thumb provides for tailoring skin-fascial flap on the lateral surface of the middle phalange of the donor finger with microsurgery technique under the operational microscope. The flap is mobilized and transposed to recipient area. Adipofascial flap is tailored on the lateral surface of the major phalange of the injured finger, mobilized on the proper pollicis artery and transposed to recipient area. The flap is fixed with interrupted sutures and covered with allogenic derma. The aseptic dressing is applied.
