A worm gear includes a worm and worm wheel. The working worm is a convolute one, and its concave in axial cross section turns are in contact with the convex in end cross section teeth of the worm wheel, those are envelope surfaces of the generative worm the turns of which are cut with disc cutter with straight cutting edges.
