A method for treating the endothelial dysfunction in the patients with ischemic heart disease complicated with the chronic cardiac failure at the elderly age comprises the basic medicamentous therapy. In the case of the increased level of autoantibodies to eNOS, the treatment is supplemented with L-arginine at a dose of 1.0 g thrice a day per os as a drinking solution for 14 days.
