A method for the surgical treatment of the backbone injuries combined with hemangioma of the bodies of vertebrae comprises the use of the transpedicular constructions or the puncture vertebroplasty. The stabilization of the backbone with the transpedicular construction is combined with correction of the deformities. The vertebroplasty of the vertebra with hemangioma is provided from the same approach. The soft tissues are cut by the linear midline incision over the site required the surgical correction. The lumbodorsal fascia is cut on both sides. The posterior parts of the vertebrae requiring fixation are skeletized to the articular processes. The screws of the fixation device are inserted into the body of vertebra transpedicularly from both sides according to the conventional technique. The location and the number of the fixed backbone segments depend on the degree of vertebral injury and instability of the segment. The screws are fixed onto the reposition rods. The rods are connected rigidly with the transpedicular screws generating the whole rigid construction. The zygapophysial joints are localized from the major approach, and the needle with mandrin is inserted into the body of vertebra through the pedicle from the wound or transcutaneously. The standard cement for vertebroplasty is injected, and the wound is sutured layer-by-layer with active drainages left.
