A method for determining the effect of exometabolites of cultivated plants on the growth and development of cultures of fungi of the necrotrophic type of nutrition, which includes subcultivating the cultures of phytopathogenic micromycetes with root metabolites of cultivated plants. The fungal cultures are grown on a solid nutrient medium adding certain amount of exudates of cultivated plants. In the course of the corresponding period observations of cultural-morphological features of micromycete colonies are carried out and measurements thereof are taken, the intensity of spore formation is determined by means of direct counting of spores in the Goriaiev-Tom’s counting chamber.
