METHOD FOR SIMULATION OF ACUTE CEREBRAL ISCHEMIC (EMBOLIC) APOPLEXY IN RATS

摘要

A method for simulation of acute cerebral ischemic (embolic) apoplexy in rats is realized by vessel embolization. Histoacryl dissolved in lipiodol in ratio of 1:5 in amout of 0.1-0.2 is injected to carotid artery, injection needle is removed, paracentesis site is tamponed with Tachocomb piece with size of 3x3 mm, with exposition for 4-5 minutes, ligature is removed and wound is sutured.
