The present invention is based on the discovery of genetic polymorphisms thatare associated with coronary heart disease and in particular stenosis and MIand response to drug treatment. In particular, the present invention relatesto nucleic acid molecules containing the polymorphisms, variant proteinsencoded by such nucleic acid molecules, reagents for detecting the polymorphicnucleic acid molecules and proteins, and methods of using the nucleic acid andproteins as well as methods of using reagents for their detection.
