A context analysis device (100) of the embodiments is provided with an example generator for machine learning (3), and an anaphora analysis predictor (5). The example generator for machine learning (3) is provided with a prediction series generation unit (32), and a probability prediction unit (33). The prediction series generation unit (32) treats combinations of predicates having common clauses, semantic-specifying information that specifies the semantics of the predicates, and case type information representing the types of cases of the common clauses, as elements, and generates a prediction series obtained by predicting some elements of a series in which a plurality of the elements are arranged from a document being analyzed (D6). The probability prediction unit (33) predicts the probability of the aforementioned prediction series occurring on the basis of the probability of the aforementioned series appearing, said series being acquired in advance from an arbitrarily-defined group of documents (D1) and matching the prediction series. The anaphora analysis predictor (5) uses the probability of the predicted prediction series occurring to analyze the context of the document being analyzed (D6).
