A system for determining an in-situ pollutant reduction potential of soils at contaminated sites is disclosed, wherein the system (10) has at least one tubular probe (11) with a multiplicity of through-openings (13) in the wall (12), a tip (14), reversibly connected to a probe (11), and a tubular segment (23), which is reversibly fixed on the probe (11) on the side of the probe (11) opposite from the tip (14), or the probe (11) is arranged in the interior space of the tubular segment (23), wherein the tip (14) located on the probe (11) protrudes out of the tubular segment (23) and has a projection on which the tubular segment (23) is supported and reversibly fixed.
