POWER-DISTRIBUTION LINE HAVING OPTICAL-FIBRE COMPOSITE NEUTRAL WIRE FOR COMMUNICATION NETWORK CONSTRUCTION IN OVERHEAD NEUTRAL GROUND WIRE DISTRIBUTION LINE SERVING BOTH AS OVERHEAD GROUND WIRE AND AS EXTRA-HIGH-VOLTAGE NEUTRAL WIRE
The present invention relates to a power-distribution line having an overhead neutral ground wire allowing simultaneous functioning of an optical communication line, and an extra-high-voltage overhead neutral ground wire provided in a position for ensuring a lightning-strike shielding angle in an extra-high-voltage power line and serving both as an overhead ground wire performing the role of shielding from a lightning strike and as an extra-high-voltage neutral wire performing the role of a return circuit for unbalanced current and fault current in the power-distribution line. More specifically, the present invention relates to a power-distribution line having an optical-fibre composite neutral wire for constructing a communication network in an overhead neutral ground wire power-distribution line serving both as an overhead ground wire and as an extra-high-voltage neutral wire so as to allow outstanding data transmission without crossed wiring and without losses; wherein the upper end of a utility pole is provided with an optical-fibre composite neutral wire in which optical fibres for optical communication are combined with an extra-high-voltage overhead neutral ground wire provided at the uppermost end of the utility pole, such that the scope of use thereof is expanded, for example by making it possible to simultaneously perform not only the tasks of a neutral wire and an overhead ground wire but also the task of a communication wire, while at the same time malfunction due to breakage of the utility pole is also prevented by lightening the weight of supported items through line simplification combined with construction cost savings, and substantial profits can be achieved by leasing the optical communication line to a communication business in addition to the resulting power distribution automation, and it is possible to economise on communication-wire rental costs and possible to give electrical power equipment high added value by securing a self-owned communication network, and, additionally, the invention coincides with current societal trends of increasing demand for power facilities and increasing requirements to construct better data-communication networks as IT becomes ever more advanced.
