STANDBY METHOD FOR SET TOP BOX, STANDBY CONTROL DEVICE FOR SET TOP BOX, AND SET TOP BOX

Provided are a standby method for a set top box, a standby control device for a set top box, and a set top box. The method comprises: receiving a standby signal of a set top box; controlling at least one unused functional module in the set top box to enter a low power consumption state, so that the set top box enters an active standby state; if a set condition is satisfied, controlling all the functional modules in the set top box to power off except for a remote control interface module and a power control module, so that the set top box enters a deep standby state; otherwise, controlling a system on chip (SOC) of the set top box to enter a sleep mode, controlling a random access memory (RAM) to reserve a parameter before the SOC enters the sleep mode, and controlling at least one functional module other than the SOC and the RAM in the set top box to power off, so that the set top box enters a quick standby state. The embodiments of the present invention not only achieve the low power consumption of the set top box, but also shortens the time of the set top box from standby to startup state.
