The present invention relates to a method for preparing a composition for a traditional alcoholic drink containing yeast, comprising the steps of drying hard-cooked rice or steamed rice cake, applying liquid yeast extracts containing yeast to the dried hard-cooked rice or steamed rice cake so as to enable the dried hard-cooked rice or steamed rice cake to absorb the yeast extracts after drying, and re-drying the hard cooked rice or steamed rice cake. The present invention also relates to a composition prepared by said method, to a method for preparing a traditional alcoholic drink from said composition, and to a traditional alcoholic drink prepared by said method. The method for preparing a composition for a traditional alcoholic drink containing yeast according to the present invention, comprises: (A) a step of macerating rice of at least one type and preparing hard-cooked rice from the macerated rice; (B) a step of drying the prepared hard-cooked rice; (C) a step of enabling the dried hard-cooked rice to absorb yeast extracts; and (D) a step of drying the hard-cooked rice to which the yeast extracts are absorbed. According to the present invention, overseas or domestic consumers who have no experience in preparing an alcoholic drink but intend to prepare an alcoholic drink may easily prepare a traditional alcoholic drink suited to their taste only by pouring water to the composition and waiting until the composition is ready.
