In order to enable various analyses with high accuracy in a site which requires analysis using a disposable microchip, a microchip (1) is disposed on a display (3a) of a tablet terminal (3) (processing device), and a sample (4) is dropped into a flow path of the microchip (1) to produce the reaction of the sample within the microchip (flow path). Light emitted from the display (3a) of the tablet terminal (3) is applied to the microchip (1), and the reaction produced within the microchip (1) is measured by the applied light. For example, when an induced fluorescence method using the applied light is adopted as a measuring method, fluorescence that has responded to the reaction is observed, and this light is observed visually or detected by a built-in camera of the tablet terminal (3). This detected signal is analyzed by being subjected to arithmetic processing by an arithmetic unit of the tablet terminal (3), and the result of the analysis is outputted to the outside.
