Cosmetic Composition for Promoting Desquamation Containing the Extract of Cucurbita moschata and Castanea crenata as Active Ingredient

A cosmetic composition containing the extracts of Cucurbita moschata and Castanea crenata is provided to promote desquamation of the skin, reduce skin irritation and improve desquamation effects in a synergism manner of both extracts. A cosmetic composition for promoting desquamation of the skin contains 0.001-20 wt.% of the extract of Cucurbita moschata and 0.001-20 wt.% of the extract of Castanea crenata which are prepared by extracting Cucurbita moschata and Castanea crenata with a solvent selected from water, C1-4 anhydrous or hydrous lower alcohol, acetone, ethylacetate, butylacetate and 1,3-butylene glycol, and is formulated as soft lotion, nutrition lotion, massage cream, essence or pack.
