The present invention relates to a revetment block and a revetment block unit with the revetment block and, more specifically, to a revetment block and a revetment block unit with the revetment block which are environment-friendly and durable and enables the growth of plants by using a red clay composition. The revetment block according to the present invention comprises: a main body which has a vegetation hole formed by penetrating the center part thereof from top to bottom; a through hole penetrating from one side to the other side thereof and which is arranged closely to other main bodies; and a connection unit which connects one side of the main body to one side of another main body close to the other side of the main body by being inserted into the through hole. The revetment block and the revetment block unit with the revetment block are provided to prevent environmental contamination caused by toxic cement by manufacturing the revetment block using the red clay composition which does not have cement to improve structural strength by securely connecting the revetment blocks using the connection unit.
