The present invention relates to heavy metal exposure responsive genes in Ecklonia cava and a method for diagnosing marine environmental pollution using the same, more specifically to: a method of detecting stress and diagnosing the condition of marine ecosystem using genes of Ecklonia cava which is responsive to heavy metal and changes the expression amount corresponding to cadmium and copper which are heavy metals.
