The present invention relates to a single nucleotide polymorphism. In particular, the present invention relates to a prediction or diagnosis method for breast cancer using a single nucleotide polymorphism marker, which is constituted by a single nucleotide polymorphism rs13393577 characterized by that the location of a DNA is 2q34. The present invention provides a method to identify information about a single nucleotide polymorphism related to occurrence of breast cancer by identifying at least one single nucleotide polymorphism selected from a group constituted by a multiple number of single nucleotide polymorphism.
