The present invention relates to dipeptide derivatives, a preparation method thereof, a chemosensor including the same and a detection method of a silver ion (Ag^+^), a mercury ion (Hg^2+^), a copper(I) ion (Cu^2+^) and silver nano particles using the same. The dipeptide derivatives represented by Formula 1 according to the present invention may detect the silver ion (Ag^+^), the mercury ion (Hg^2+^), the copper(I) ion (Cu^2+^) and the silver nano particles in the presence of other metal ions possibly functioning as an inhibitory material, selectively, quantitatively, and simultaneously or at different times.
