The present invention relates to a slip control method for a propulsion control apparatus for a high-speed train, which comprises as follows: a step of sensing the racing of an axle of a high-speed train when a slip of the axle of the high-speed train occurs; a step of reducing the traction power of the high-speed train to a preset reduction when the racing is sensed and maintaining the traction power for a preset maintenance time; a step of gradually recovering the traction power maintained for the maintenance time over a preset recovery time; and a step of adjusting the increase of the recovery pattern of the traction power by stages depending on the number of racing of the axle of the high-speed train.
