The present invention relates to a method for binding data when authoring web applications and an authoring tool using the same, which can specify a position, where data to be bound to a UI component is to be brought, to the properties of a data source component for a binding job, thereby bringing data sources to be bound to the specific position with one button input, clearly aligning and displaying the data sources brought to the specified position in the form of a tree, and simply performing a binding job in a manner of selecting the properties of the data sources displayed in the tree form and dragging and dropping the selected properties to a desired UI component.
