The present invention relates to a voice recognition device comprising a corpus processing part including a filtering part for classifying collected corpora according to domains appropriate for functions of the voice recognition device and an extracting part for extracting collected basic sentences for each function of the voice recognition device from the corpora classified according to the domains; a database for storing the extracted basic sentences according to the functions of the voice recognition device; a corpus receiving part for receiving a corpus of a user; and a controller for comparing received basic sentences, extracted from the received corpus by the extracting part, with the collected basic sentences stored in the database and determining a function which the corpus of the user intends to perform. According to the present invention, the voice recognition device can clearly recognize users′ intentions from various commands of various users and execute the commands.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
