The present invention relates to a system for providing an outdoor activity supporting service based on context awareness. An outdoor activity information management device for the system comprises a sensing information collection module which collects physical information and logical information related to a user using one or more sensors; a context awareness information extraction module which recognizes multiple sets of information on situations of a user based on the collected sensing information and extracts user context information related to outdoor activities of the user based on the multiple sets of information on the situations of the user; and an outdoor activity information management module which associates the extracted multiple sets of user context information with each other based on time and location in order to record the outdoor activities of the user, and provides the recorded information on the outdoor activities. Accordingly, the information suitable for exercise context of the user can be provided for the user without special control.
