Dynamic wavelength allocation and time allocation in a hybrid WDM / TDM PON having a tunable laser as a light source generator may be achieved by mapping the scheduling in a multiprocessor scheduling problem with the ONU requests which are working with the machine which are wavelength channels. Wavelength can be considered to be parallel the same machine. Considering the laser tuning time, the occupancy and non-preemptive scheduling with the aim of minimizing the latest job completion time is calculated by employing a number of empirical algorithms. The algorithm calculates the laser tuned each time the two extremes of zero and infinity. This comes from using the two extreme case of a result, the heuristic scheduling for any case of laser tuning times are generated close to the average of the last time to complete an operation schedule for both types. ;
