The present invention relates to a method and a system which are used to obtain CO2 emission data regarding variety of products and materials used in the fields of architecture. More specifically, the method and system can convert the CO2 emission data disclosed in the life cycle inventory (LCI) built by various research institutes of foreign countries to reflect the characteristics of the domestic industries. In other word, the method and the system can convert the CO2 emission data in foreign LCI DBs to fit the domestic environment. The CO2 emission conversion system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an output energy calculation unit; a unit for reflecting energy efficiency of each nation; a domestic energy attribute reflection unit; a calculation unit for calculating the CO emission of each energy source; a calculation unit for calculating the CO emission of carbonates; and a data obtaining unit.
