Method of reporting link quality in EGPRS2 system

A link quality reporting method of an EGPRS2(Enhanced General Packet Radio Service 2) system is provided to report link quality for only a portion of modulation modes instead of all of the modulation modes, thereby reducing a signaling overhead as minimizing performance deterioration of a link adaptation process. Link quality for received wireless blocks is measured. If a modulation mode having the most wireless blocks exists, link quality for the modulation mode is reported(S210). If a lot of modulation modes having the same number of wireless blocks exist, link quality for a modulation mode selected through a predetermined method is reported(S250). If a lot of modulation modes having the same number of wireless blocks exist, a modulation mode having a large average BEP(Bit Error Probability) is selected and reported.
