The present invention relates to a water level measuring device using ultrasonic waves, comprising: a detector (6) for transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves of a frequency band set according to a water level measurement distance; and a converter (4) for controlling the transmitting and receiving of the ultrasonic waves according to the frequency band set by the detector (6) and filtering the frequency which is received through the reflection from an installation structure regardless of the water level measurement among the received ultrasonic waves, thereby measuring the water level. In the water level measurement using the ultrasonic sensor, the ultrasonic frequency signal value reflected from the installation structure regardless of the water level measurement is filtered so as to be removed and then the water level is measured, thereby achieving the accurate water level measurement.
