FIELD: transport.;SUBSTANCE: chain tension sensor for chain scraper conveyor includes lever and load reading pin. The lever has the first end, the second end opposite to the first end, and load-bearing gasket. The first end is connected with possibility to be turned to frame by articulation pivot determining pivotal axis. Load-bearing gasket is located adjacent to conveyor chain and installed so that it provides contact with scrapers passing beside the gasket. The scrapers contacting with load-bearing gasket act on lever in direction perpendicular to the specified pivotal axis. The load reading pin is connected to the lever so that it reads force applied by scrapers. To detect chain breakage in dual-chain scraper conveyor two sensors are used and their measurements are compared. Preload on lever is imposed by spring assembly.;EFFECT: reliable chain tension determination.;43 cl, 21 dwg
