The solid state drive-hard drive adapter (1) has a frame (2) with a deep bottom area (8) for the assembly of a 2.5 inch solid state drive (SSD)- or 2.5 inch Serial advanced technology attachment (SATA)-hard drive, lateral locking hole (10a) and the guide holes (9a). A slider (4) is provided with two guide shafts (9) and a locking shaft (10). The frame and the slider are connected by a safety ring on the locking shaft of the slider. The frame with the assembled pressure springs is mounted in the guide holes for the clamping the 2.5 inch-SSD- or -SATA-hard drive through the slider.
