The buckle (1) has a cover (2) that is connected on a side to a strap bit (4), and on another side to another strap bit (8). A connection unit is interposed between the latter strap bit and the cover of the buckle. The connection unit is arranged with a final link (10) sliding according to a longitudinal direction of the buckle between one position and another position. The final link has a stop unit for inhibition of extraction of cover with the final link. The stop unit includes a pin that is covered in a groove (16) placed in a part of the cover, where the pin defines two end stops (18).
