The drainage system (11) has a storage element (12) having a storage chamber (13) for storing water, where the storage element has one flow bridge, via which a certain amount of stored water per unit time is flowable. The bridge is designed as a flow effective capillary dewatering element (19), where the effective capillary dewatering element is formed strip-shaped, particularly as a capillary dewatering strips. The storage chamber is defined by one chamber wall (14) and a chamber base, where the capillary effective dewatering element is mounted on the chamber wall by using a bearing unit.
