The pressure roller has a circumferential surface provided with a tooth space. The tooth space is formed by a spatial tool. The dimension of a head portion of a stamper (15) is set to predetermined range. The stamper is moved on a pitch circle portion of an associated rotor in accordance with the selected time constant ratio so that the desired movement of the stamper is reconstructed into a die portion in the unloaded state. An independent claim is included for a rotary press.
