The toothbrush has brush surfaces (3) which are connected with the toothbrush head in flexible manner. A connecting bar (4) between a toothbrush head (2) and the respective brush surface is fitted outside the center of the brush surface. The connecting bar is flexibly connected with the toothbrush head and firmly connected with the brush surfaces. The brush surfaces have the shape of a closed U. The connecting bar is fitted in the center of the circle described by the lower end of the U. The motion radius of the brush surface is limited by one or more elevations on the toothbrush head.
