The system (1) has a fuel cell (3) i.e. PEM fuel cell, and a heat exchanger (21), where a mass flow is made to flow in a region of the fuel cell and out-flow from the fuel cell. An air-conditioning system (16) actively cools the exchanger, and comprises an air conditioner compressor (17). A drain spacer (14) for condensation with a valve device (15) is arranged in the region of the exchanger. The exchanger is arranged in the region of a liquid separator (13). The exchanger is arranged in the region of mass flow that is made to outflow from fuel cell and an anode compartment (4) of fuel cell.
