The device has a cuboid storage volume formed from corner body mold parts (1), longitudinal edge mold parts (2) and surface mold parts (3, 4). The cuboid storage volume is provided with a connection for thermal charging and discharge. The mold parts comprise a sandwich-like structure of fiber reinforced plastic covering layers with integrated thermal insulation. The mold parts are added in a force-fit and/or form-fit liquid tight manner. The mold parts overlap each other and are added by connectors and a groove spring connection.
