The front portions has an energy absorbing structure (10) having an upwardly directed collecting surface and extending to the front in the extension of a front opening hood (1). The energy absorbing structure is divided in two sections (18,19,20) through weak points. The sections are staggered in the vehicle longitudinal direction. The collecting surface is inclined to the front. The weak points are grooves (16,17).
